Square-Enix is bringing the Final Fantasy XIV to PlayStation 5. The developer confirmed this via an official announcement made via their website.

With the PlayStation 5 release, the game will also receive the much anticipated fourth expansion pack — Endwalker. The expansion pack will be available for Final Fantasy XIV Online.

According to the announcement, the game is scheduled to release during the second half of 2021 and the game will go in open beta starting April 13, 2021.

The game will arrive on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Mac. There’s no information whether there will be a PC version of the game as well.

Endwalker expansion pack is slated to bring several new features including new multiple jobs, increased level cap, new areas, an all-new battle system, new challenges and more. Here’s a complete list of new features as per the official announcement post.
